Location: UAE Curriculum: American (Common Core / California Standards) Start Date: Flexible Job Summary: The Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader, responsible for the overall management, leadership, and development of the school. The role requires ensuring alignment with KHDA guidelines and American curriculum standards while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and student-centered learning. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic vision, culture, and academic direction of the school. Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with Common Core/California Standards. Supervise teaching staff and leadership team performance, conducting regular evaluations. Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations, inspections, and school improvement plans. Maintain effective parent, student, and community engagement. Manage the school’s financial, operational, and human resource functions. Promote inclusion, innovation, digital learning, and staff well-being. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor’s in Education + Master’s in Educational Leadership/Administration. KHDA Requirement: Attested degrees, equivalency certificate, and principal permit eligibility. 10+ years in education; minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position. Proven record of school improvement, curriculum leadership, and regulatory compliance. Prior UAE/GCC experience highly preferred
